Johnson Before and After School Program  

General Information

The cost for the program is $8.50 per session, per student. Part-time as well as full time enrollment is available. Charges are assessed based on the sessions the student is enrolled. Families will be charged for all days that their child does not attend unless one week's notice is given. This will include days the children are out due to illness. A charge of $1 per minute will be assessed for early drop off or late pick up (time is determined by the classroom clock). If school is not in session, there will be no B.A.S.P. and no charges will apply.

BASP is open on all ½ days from 7:00-9:10 am and 12:15-6:00 pm. The additional cost of these days is $13. A field trip will be taken on almost all half days (the cost of the trip will be determined depending on the activity).

Morning Program

Hours are from 7:00 to 9:10

Activities Include:
Gym/Outside time
Computer lab
Games
Building Activities
Crafts

A light breakfast is served in the morning at no additional cost. A monthly menu will be provided. We will start serving breakfast at 8:20. Students must arrive prior to 8:35 am to be served breakfast.

Children not attending school immediately after BASP are not eligible to attend the morning session, i.e. Children attending kindergarten in the afternoon.

The Program opens at 7:00 am. There is an overtime rate of $1.00 per minute the child is early (time is determined by the classroom clock.)

Afternoon Program

Hours are from 3:30 to 6:00

A Nutritious snack is offered to the children when they come to BASP from school. A monthly menu will be provided.

Games
Building activities
Homework assistance  

Children not attending school immediately prior to BASP are not eligible for the program on that day, i.e. Children attending morning kindergarten or if afternoon kindergarten is on a morning field trip, they may not return to school for B.A.S.P.

B.A.S.P. closes at 6:00 PM. There is an overtime rate of $1.00 per minute the parent is late (time is determined by the classroom clock). Excessive lateness will be reviewed and could lead to the dismissal of your child from the program.

Children will only be released to a parent or guardian. In the event a parent needs a child picked up by someone other than a parent or guardian, notice will need to be provided to the director by the parent prior to the pickup.
